UNICEF Kid Power Celebrates Star Wars’ 40th Anniversary at Star Wars Celebration

Heads up UNICEF Kid Power Team! If you’re going to Star Wars Celebration, which kicks off today in Orlando, Florida, we’ve got some very exciting events you won’t want to miss!

Today, at 4:45 PM, Ashley Eckstein, voice of Star Wars Rebels’ Ahsoka Tano, will take the stage at The Star Wars Show (Booth 1245)  to talk about UNICEF Kid Power and why she joined the fight against global malnutrition. Make sure to stick around after her interview, when she’ll be leading the audience in a UNICEF Kid Power workout!

If you can’t make The Star Wars Show, you can also catch Ashley at the Star Wars: Force for Change ooth #3650 on Friday through Sunday. She’ll be stopping by all three days to lead UNICEF Kid Power workouts. Don’t forget to wear your UNICEF Kid Power Bands because she’ll be demonstrating some high energy Jedi moves that will go a long way toward meeting your daily step quota! Days and times of Ashley’s workouts:

  •    Friday: 12:45 pm
  •    Saturday: 1:30 pm
  •    Sunday: 12:30 pm

If you don’t have a UNICEF Kid Power Band — or are looking to switch things up — the booth will be selling “Limited Edition” Star Wars 40th Anniversary Bands in honor of Star Wars entering its fourth decade! Bands will be available here at Unicefkidpower.org following Celebration.

We are also excited to help kick off the Omaze Campaign, which is offering exclusive Star Wars experiences to benefit both UNICEF and our Celebration booth neighbors, Starlight Children’s Foundation. To find out how you can get in on that action, too, visit the Star Wars: Force for Change booth or go to www.omaze.com/StarWars.

Have fun marking Star Wars’ 40th anniversary and getting active with Ashley. We’ll be following along on social, so don’t forget to tag us at #UNICEFKidPower!

Running around Celebration with your UNICEF Kid Power Band is a great way to be a Force For Change!
